Lawn Care for Fall and Winter
To have a beautiful lawn next year, you need to start now. Early fall is the only effective time to reseed or plant cool-season grasses (fescue). If you have a warm-season grass (Bermuda, Zoysia), you need to prevent winter weeds from taking over. The class covers: warm vs cool-season grasses; soil testing; fertilizing, watering and weed prevention.
Class is run by Fulton Co. Cooperative Ext, N Fulton Master Gardeners and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Comm. To register, call (678) 297-6200.
