Center Theatre at the MJCCA announces the second of its two 2011 Teen Summer Stock Productions - WEST SIDE STORY – an energetic, widely-acclaimed, melodramatic musical, directed by Brian Kimmel. The classic WEST SIDE STORY has been called a modern-day, loose re-telling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet tragedy of feuding families, although the setting is the Upper West Side of New York City in the late 1950s, and is ground-breaking for its electrifying choreography.
