Three gripping and beautiful one-act operas written by Giacomo Puccini that includes Il Tabarro, Suor Angelica, and Gianni Schicchi. The first two operas follow the tales of two women -- one haunted by her past, one yearning for her future -- and the lengths to which each will go to achieve them. The last is a sparkling comic farce based on a character mentioned in Dante's Divine Comedy.
