Fall Folklife Festival

Saturday, Sep 10, 2011 11:00a to 4:00p

Visit and shop with local artists who use traditional folk art techniques while adding a modern twist. Local chefs and farmers discuss current culinary trends that focus on farm-to-table food practices and sustainability techniques. At Smith Family Farm site enjoy hands-on crafts, a petting zoo, farm-to-table activities, storytelling, and live music. Demonstrations of traditional folk arts, including pottery, wood turning, blacksmithing, and basket making are part of this family-fun day.
