The 10th Annual Summer Shade Festival returns to LP Grant Park, Saturday and Sunday, August 25 & 26, 2012. The festival features a not-to-be-missed artist market, food, children's area, live entertainment, 5K Run and Corks & Forks - A Fine Food and Wine Event. Artist market application deadline is June 1. Applications available on website.

We had a great time last year. We run a booth, Enchanted Kidz (Princess Dresses, Fairy Wands and Wings) and were in the kids area. You could see that all the children were having a great time that day. There were storytellers, facepainters, etc. This year the weather is a little cloudy which should make it awesome for hanging out with the family. Hope to see you all there!
