Celles d'en Haut is a hilarious, colorful play set in an isolated 1950s sanitorium. It questions human choices and explores sickness, the power of medication (and our quickness to succumb blindly to that power), and the deification of doctors. It also investigates how institutions might become beneficial and restorative islands.
This bilingual reading of excerpts is free and open to the public. Donations welcome at the door.
