The AJC Peachtree Road Race has distinguished itself as one of the premier Fourth of July traditions in Atlanta with its festive atmosphere, scenic city course and beloved finisher’s T-shirt. Organized by the Atlanta Track Club, the event attracts runners of all ages and paces eager to take part in the Fourth of July tradition. Registration for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race is now closed.

The… Show more AJC Peachtree Road Race starts in Buckhead near Lenox Square Mall and ends in Piedmont Park.
The wheelchair race begins at 6:45 a.m.; the footrace begins at 7:30 a.m.

Event participants and spectators are strongly encouraged to take MARTA. MARTA will begin running at 5 a.m. on race day. It is a convenient and inexpensive way to travel to and from the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Runners are encouraged to use the Lenox station for the start and the Midtown or Art Center station for the finish.

All finishers will receive a 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race T-shirt.

The course starts at Lenox Square and travels down Peachtree to 10th Street in Midtown.
