Sunday, Sep 30, 2012 3:00p

NBAF (presenters of the National Black Arts Festival) will host, in collaboration with the Auburn Avenue Research Library, Dr. Ayanna Thompson, who will facilitate the community lecture Weyward Macbeth: Intersections of Race and Performance. This lecture will examine the history of adaptations and reconsiderations of Macbeth, and how contemporary performances of one of the most ubiquitous Shakespearean tragedies have engaged issues of race.
