Molly Stevens grew up in Macon, Georgia, with a rich heritage of music surrounding her. Not only did she come from a very musical family, she also shared her city's history with performers like the Allman Brothers, Otis Redding and Little Richard. Layne was born in the outskirts of Salt Lake City, Utah. Growing up singing with her twin sisters provided Layne with an early love for music. Moving to Nashville in 2007 Layne began pursuing a solo career and had many successes along the way. She teamed up with Stevens to create what was the beginning of a powerful and heartfelt duo.
