Ryan Boyle

Wednesday, Apr 24, 2013 5:00p to 7:00p

Ryan Boyle, a survivor of traumatic brain injury, will share his inspirational story. Boyle was 10 when a pickup truck hit and dragged him along the road. Emergency surgery saved his life but he lost a portion of his brain. As Ryan says he "had to learn how to breathe, swallow, talk, eat, stand, sit, walk—everything— all over again". Still Ryan became active in school and has now started college. He wrote When The Lights Go Out to share his experiences and the inspiration he discovered.
