Basics of Cooking for Baby
In this series of classes Preserving Place will show new parents that making their own baby food is an easy way to control their child’s nutritional needs, provide variety as well as saving time & money. Stage 1 classes will discuss nutritional needs of 6-8 month olds, discuss proteins and provide hands-on demonstration of pureeing fruits and vegetables. Participants will complete the class with several jars to take home. Follow-on classes will focus on baby’s food needs as they grow.
