If the only material Robin Williams can produce these days is what he offered in last night's show at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, he should really consider retiring. Better to rest on his past reputation for being an energetic, intelligent performer that could engage an audience with his quick wit and comedic genius. Of course, many comedians today rely on some shock value or sets filled with sexually charged material ... but Williams managed to spend almost two hours focused on topics that only drunken fraternity house boys would find amusing. A few great pieces mixed in with a lot of trash. What a waste of talent and a waste time for all those in the audience with a brain. To see Robin Williams sober these days is great, but if you are going to his show ... considering getting drunk first. Just to ease the pain.
