Artful Stories

Saturday, Sep 19, 2009 10:00a

In The Adventures of Odysseus, a beautifully illustrated book of stories by Hugh Lupton, young children are introduced to Odysseus and his many adventures on his arduous journey home. Meet the Cyclops and learn how the ancient Greek hero, Odysseus, uses his wits to escape from the Cyclops’ Island. After the story we’ll look at some of the ancient Greek art with images from The Odyssey followed by an art activity in the Tate Room. 3 – 5 years accompanied by an adult. RSVP required.
