Curator Dan Cameron discusses his numerous curatorial projects including Prospect.1 New Orleans, the largest Biennial of international art ever organized in the United States.
Cameron is Director of Visual Arts at the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans. He has organized numerous large-scale and international exhibitions, including Dirty Yoga, the 2006 Taipei Biennial; and NY Interrupted at pkm Gallery, Beijing, 2006-07 among others. While Senior Curator at the New Museum (1995-2006), he organized retrospective exhibitions on the works of Carolee Schneemann, Eugenio Dittborn, Cildo Meireles, Faith Ringgold, Martin Wong, David Wojnarowicz, Paul McCarthy, and others.
