The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival

60 National Comedians Are Coming To Atlanta! See 12 hilarious comedians on each show at The Laughing Skull Lounge, Funny Farm Comedy Club, Comedy Gold and Midtown Tavern.

We are very flattered at the overwhelming response the comedy community has shows The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival. We have had close to 600 comedians submit for only 60 spots... where the normal comedy festival might have 200-300 submissions. We credit the high response rate to the reputation we have earned in our first year… Show more as being one of the best comedy rooms in the country and bringing in only the best comedians out there.

This festival is also a contest where the shows Wed-Fri will have 12 comedians doing 5 minutes each. Each of these preliminary rounds will have two winners that then move on to the semi-finals which is Saturday at 8:00 pm where they then perform for 6 minutes each. We then have four selected from that round to go to the final round that same night at 10:30 pm. From there, only one comedian will survive as they compete to the death: Four Comics Enter, One Will Leave!

We have a great deal of comedy industry coming to town to scout talent and we are very excited to have Lenny Bruce's daughter, Kitty Bruce, be part of the festival by announcing the winners on each show.
