SCAD Matthew Blackwell & Gregory Eltringham: "Horsepower"

SCAD's exhibitions department presents Horsepower, a two-person painting exhibition by Spring 2009 Visiting Artist Matt Blackwell and SCAD Savannah painting professor Gregory Eltringham. Blackwell's expressionistically-painted cruiser cars exude a cool, iconic power as well as a nostalgic semblance of the American past, while Eltringham's playful portraits utilize horse imagery to illustrate a range of human relationships. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
