Steamhouse Lounge
Created by eskimoads
Steamhouse food was tasty, typical casual fare, but while our car was in the hands of their valet service, our two front tires were slashed, so beware. Even worse, since the tires were "run flat" we did not notice upon getting into the car and it was not until we were a few miles up the road that the warning light came on. As a result, Jake, the very unhelpful manager, would not take any responsibility... pointing to the valet service, who pointed to the nearby parking lot they lease, who pointed to the security company... get the picture. We won't be back, and if you must go, we reoommend you take MARTA.

Regulars who remember the original Steamhouse Lounge in Buckhead may experience a flash of déjà vu upon entering the new Midtown location -- the furniture and many of the fixtures and photos from the old place made the move. And so did the potent cocktails and party atmosphere evocative of a beach bar in Key West. The multilevel space is a Caribbean dream of bright colors, nautical themes, and a whole lot of kitsch. Wraparound decks, a patio with a palm tree in the center and a satellite bar offer plenty of outdoor seating.
