At the Vinings locale of the Midtown favorite, you'll find the same fried green tomatoes and she-crab soup as Midtown, but in a sweeping space twice the size, designed by (who else?) the Johnson Studio. There are loungey, communal tables in a bar area that would swallow the entire kitchen of the Midtown location. One wall is devoted to housing 1,200 bottles of wine. Sparkling French doors open to a large patio and even more seating. With sexy earth tones and an exhibition kitchen ready for its close-up, the Vinings location (anchored in swanky Ivy Walk, actually in Smyrna) boasts every perfectly polished trinket a new restaurant could need or want.It just seems a little all-talk, no-action when it come to the delivering.
