The Cafe 290 in Sandy Springs off Roswell rd was a great spot. The food was excellent. I had a steak that was thick and juicy and the wife had a chicken pasta dish that was also very well prepared. We had after-dinner irish hazelnut coffee was outsta...nding. The entertaintment was a live 4-piece jazz band featuring Las Vegas vocalist, Julius. The only drawback was our server who was both inexperienced and overwhelmed. By her admission, she had only worked there for about two weeks resulting in her having a limited knowledge of the menu.
Overall, the dining experience was top notch and I definitely recommend Cafe 290.
