Bagel Palace in Tocco Hills is one of those places that’s totally in tune with its neighborhood. The New York-style deli and bakery serves up everything from chopped liver and matzoh ball soup to burgers and omelettes. But there’s also iced tea and surprisingly good grits. Inside the plain, shopping center storefront, the scene is a lively mix of people lining up for classic boiled and baked bagels, coffee cake, cookies and other bakery treats. (Full review)
