Bar One was exquisite! The service was absolutely professional. Free valet parking, a host assisted us up the stairs and when you enter the atmosphere is fun and sexy for adults. The food was delicious, tried the fried plantains and fish tacos. I meet Peter he was very nice and personable. This will be a frequent stop when I'm in Atlanta, can’t wait to take all of my girlfriends!

I would like to lodge a complaint against @baroneatl and Peter Thomas. I don't like bait and switch tactics. When we are told to be at the location by 9:30pm to get a table we do so. We each had to have separate checks and we complied. We ordered drinks and food and were quite content to celebrate my cousin's birthday. Then the tables turned...literally. The waiter brings our individual checks and invites us to leave the premises as our 2 hours were up. Huh? What? Leave?
To make a long story short... if you want a table you have to buy a 275.00 bottle of liquor- after which they tack on a 49.50 gratuity to it. Not wanting to disrupt my cousin's guests I buy the bottle and we continued our evening. But one thing is for sure. I won't be back again! The policy should have been stated when we made the phone call reserving the space. Then this policy should have been reiterated to us when we were seated.
Now this does not make good business sense. Mathematically speaking 15 people who spent an average of 50.00 EACH on food and drinks and weren't ready to quit their enjoyment at the 2 hour mark brings in more money than a single 324.50 tab. Why disenfranchise 15 people for what equates to pennies and a (former) customer who has no problems persuading others to never step foot in this establishment again!
To be fair I was asked to send in a formal complaint e-mail and I did so. I received a reply from Ms. Kenney with The Peter Thomas Entertainment group which said in part: "...you are not the first person that has questioned our business model, and that the two hour policy is not something that will change". This furthers my conviction that I have made the right decision to never return and why I will encourage as many people as I can to join me in spending their money at establishments where we are treated as an integral part of the business plan.
