The customer service is horrible, they are not friendly AT ALL!!! The prices are too high for the amount of food you get. I bought a Turkey Wing dinner which includes 2 sides for $8.99. Turkey wings are very inexpensive. I asked for double collard greens, you would think that if one small corn bread muffin comes with one side of greens that you should get 2 for double greens, NOT!!! They charge you .35 for an extra piece of small corn bread muffin. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. This is the main reason people don't support BLACK businesses..

This location is in my local neighborhood. I have reduced my services due to steady increase of prices, however they have very good food, no doubt about that. I went in one evening and purchased rib tips only, no sides. I was told just the entree by itself was $6.00 plus tax. I was apauled, and it showed on my face. THe owner asked what was wrong, he didnt want to have unhappy customers, I told him " he didnt want to know what was on my mind" and he insisted to know due to the expression on my face. So there the door opens.... I told him verbatim " you need your a$$ whipped for such high prices". His reply was " everybody struggling". I said that is not right to pass your losses onto your customers at such rates. He then decides as i have handed him the money for my purchase to refused to serve me, take my food back in which was already handed to be ( bagged) and ask me to leave his store.
Terrible, terrible. One thing, I can complain about the prices and choose to not return, but to give me a story to tell about how he refused to serve me because he didnt like what i said after he insisted to know. That is not how you handle business.
I do not hold my tongue. But if i have nothing nice to day i dont say anything at all, but when you insist to know, you open the door for whateva you get.
I am sure as a man he felt ''little'', But that is the nature of the business when you have customers and they drive your revenue.
Customer Service is KEY! and when that is not your priorty you always loose.
FYI....good service goes unnoticed and spoken about, but bad service is heard immediately and never FORGOTTEN...it travels fast.
