Harvest at the Homestead

The park’s annual Harvest at the Homestead special event lets you travel back in time to the 1800s.
Among the things to do and see at Harvest at the Homestead are open-hearth cooking, blacksmithing, woodworking, sewing, spinning, candle-dipping, and a Civil War camp. Get the most “bang” for your buck by watching the regularly scheduled musket and cannon firing demonstrations. This year will also feature sack, hoop, and three-legged races as well as corn hole and log cutting contests.
