Singer-Songwriter DAN HICKS &THE HOT LICKS has a sound that one could only breed on American soil. Born in Little Rock Ark, and raised in California, Dan began his musical career as a drummer. But he soon emerged as a guitarist and singer-songwriter whose lyrics ranged from "the simply sublime to the sublimely ridiculous." Too original to label, Hick's sound has a bit of cowboy folk, swing, and even gypsy music.
