Cafe 101 on Buford Highway is arguably one of the best restaurants of its kind in the Atlanta area, but it falls prey to some Chinese restaurant fallbacks: The menu is long, a little overbearing, and includes Chinese, Chinese-American and Szechuan dishes. Many are exceptional, most are better than average. Cafe 101’s unprecedented contribution to the area’s Chinese restaurant scene is its offering of shaved ices drenched in sweetened condensed milk and topped with sliced fruit. (Full review)
