The American Indian Festival

Step into the past, as we look to the future. Join in a celebration of the spirit of the first Americans.

This will be the 20th year that The American Indian Festival will be held at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. There will be many different Native Nations represented, sharing their language, dances, stories, and other aspects of their culture. The main essence of this festival is to present the true Native American, both from the past and the present.

There will be vendors offering fine… Show more arts & crafts that are Native American made, or reproductions of Native artifacts.

The event involves competition dancing, flute playing, storytelling, blowgun demonstration, primitive weapon demonstration, and flintknapping. There will also be American Indian food.
