I have eaten there 5 times and the service and the food are totally inconsistant. Good food twice. I was served spoiled coleslaw on the 2nd visit, 3rd visit was very dry fish tacos, fifth visit I received a sandwich with hair on the top. After returning it and waiting until after the other 8 people in my party were done eating I received a soggy replacement and a bill for the full price. I complained and the price was reduced to zero, but no real remorse on the restaurants part. Fish tacos are very dry and tasteless. Pura Enchilada has fish tacos to drive 20 miles for ! I will go around the corner or down the street for good safe food.
Just ate there tonight and were very pleased with the quality of the food and the excellent service. the grouper sandwich and seafood bisque were perfectly portioned and delicious. All we needed was a view of the ocean to feel as if we were at the beach. We will definitely be back!

The addition of Oyster Bay Seafood Cafe to the Lawrenceville Square continues a strong trend of unique eateries in this pedestrian hot spot. Steve Green and Greg Makler last October opened Oyster Bay, which does an excellent job of filling bellies with platters of crab legs, grouper, shrimp and other beachy fare in a casual setting that balances the bar crowd with an otherwise family atmosphere.
