The Mount Paran Players present Steel Magnolias, benefitting MUST Ministries. The 1987 play revolves around the close friendships of 6 women in a small Louisiana parish who chatter at the beauty parlor. They discuss men, religion, and the serious decision that could result in one friend’s death. A $75 VIP ticket is available for Aug. 15, including heavy hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 PM, the show at 8 PM, and a “Meet The Cast Dessert Reception” after the show on The Strand's popular roof top terrace.
