Tibetan Monks Create Sand Mandala in Marietta

The Tibetan Buddhist Monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery in India will construct the White Tara Mandala sand painting at Unity North in Marietta. Millions of grains of colored sand are laid into place in this ancient spritual art form in order to purify and heal the environment and its inhabitants. There will also be a community sand mandala where adults and children can experience creating a sand mandala. Observing the creation of this mandala is a free, family event.
