Trail Building

Calling all Park Heroes, we need your help to build an accessible trail at Pleasant Ridge Park in Northern Greenville county.  This trail will serve youth and adults with special needs and disabilities who attend Greenville Rec's Camp Spearhead Program.  Volunteers will work side by side with AmeriCorps volunteers who are will be in town to help with the trail.
 
Time:   9:00am - 2:00pm
 
Location:   Once you are in the park, follow signs for the Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center located… Show more within the park.  See below for directions to the park.
 
Please be sure to register online if you plan on helping out.
 
Park Hero T-Shirts will be available for people who have not received one.
Participants will received Greenville Rec and REI coupons as a thank you.
 
Lunch will be provided!
 
Directions:  Please note Google Maps does not work well for this location.
Follow Highway 25 North past Travelers Rest like you are going to Asheville NC.  Exit onto Highway 11 and take a left back over Highway 25.  Go about 1.5 miles and the entrance to the Park will be on your right.  You will see a sign that says Pleasant Ridge Camp & Retreat Center at the top and Pleasant Ridge Park at the bottom.
