Atlanta Chamber Players at Spivey Hall: "Ludwig & Felix"

The Atlanta Chamber Players perform works by two of the greatest German composers: Ludwig van Beethoven and Felix Mendelssohn. Beethoven's "Opus 16 Quintet for Piano and Winds" is a joyous celebration of the colors and timbres of piano plus four wind instruments. Serene and heroic, Mendelssohn's "C Minor Piano Trio" is a romantic tour de force of symphonic proportions. Guest pianist Elena Cholakova, a native of Bulgaria, will make her Atlanta Chamber Players debut with this powerful work.
