The Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra devoted to meeting the cultural needs of audiences and performers in the Southern Crescent area of Metro Atlanta. Transcending genre distinctions, SHANA TUCKER is a "ChamberSoul" cellist and singer/songwriter whose music is a sultry pastiche of acoustic pop and soulful, jazz-influenced contemporary folk. Many of the grooves have a bossa-nova/latin heartbeat, translated through percussive vocal phrasing.
