Though London awaits the joyful arrival of Christmas, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) thinks it's all humbug, berating his faithful clerk and cheerful nephew for their view. Later, Scrooge encounters the ghost of his late business partner, who warns that three spirits will visit him this night. The ghosts take Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and future in the hope of transforming his bitterness.

I took my nieces to see this movie and they were a little frightened by some of the characters. This is not a kiddy movie. The language was a little difficult to understand. I had to analyze the movie for them throughout. It was a little drawn out for me. I wouldn't recommend this for kids. Nice graphics though.

Yes, this is Disney's A Christmas Carol but it deserves the PG rating. Don't take small or easily frightened children. The animation is wonderful and it is faithful to the original Dickens tale.It is really some digital combination of animation and live action and it is seamless. The ghost sequences are very dark and scary. The 3D is fantastic. This is NOT Mickey's A Christmas Carol. For older children or those not easily scared it is a great movie.
