Shelly Ryan

I've had the pleasure of performing on stage with Comedienne Shelly Ryan for several years, plus served on the Board of Directors with her for Indie Laughs for Life. Shelly is also another co-founder of this non-profit group along with me and founder Vicki Blankenship in Martinsville, VA.

Shelly is one of the few Comediennes that can make other comedians laugh.

I'm proud to know her not only through comedy and music, but to call her my friend as well.

Shelly is very special and kind....especially for a Yankee, she has helped with many Cancer Fund raising events for women and children, written story book CD's, and performed around the country. Usually free of charge just to help others.

I tease her all the time trying to get her to "Run Off" with me. But I respect her more knowing that'll never happen since she's faithful to her husband (Unlike my ex) and devoted to her children.

She was a contestant on Nickelodeon's Funniest Mom in 2005, and that "Seriously Weird" description suits her to a "T".
