Venue Review: Pozole
accessAtlanta
(06/15/2006) Pozolé, with its breezy deck and groovy concrete bar, serves semi-authentic Latin dishes, more reminiscent of Santa Fe than Saltillo, though dishes such as the luscious potato and cheese tacos would be easy to find in central Mexico. And with fresher tortillas, the fish tacos, with a dab of salty capers and fiery jalapeno peppers, could rival those at Taqueria del Sol and Pure Taqueria. Pozole's charm is that rarely does it reach for more than it can grasp -- it offers a well-stocked bar, some good munchies, and two people can get in and out, well satisfied, for less than $50.
