Welcome Christmas will offer many well-loved holiday favorites, including arrangements of O Come, All Ye Faithful, The First Nowell, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and several arrangements by John Rutter and Alice Parker. In this concert both the sacred and secular sides of Christmas will be represented—the MOS chorus will perform Craig Courtney’s A Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas, a humorous approach to that often-performed (and much abused) Christmas favorite.
