Venturing into Amalfi Ristorante in Roswell feels something like listening to the music of Frank Sinatra. There’s a nostalgic sense of going back in time to a world that’s steady and straightforward, with a touch of romantic schmaltz.

Best this side of the pond

If your looking for the best Italian food, this is the place. Mama's in the kitchen and most of the wait staff is related. Be prepared to wait, since they take no reservations and the place is filled by returning customers. For those that have an issue with their smoking policy. It's clearly printed on the door. This is "real Italian". If you don't know what that means perhaps The Olive Garden is what your looking for? This place will put you back in time and make you feel like family, that's an Italian family!

Great food & service but heavy smoke from the bar

I love the food and the service, but on our last visit heavy smoke from people at the bar filled the entire restaurant. My wife and I cannot handle the smoke, so although we had enjoyed previous visits, we have not returned for many months.

Incredible awful experience

If you go to this restaurant, be prepared for anything. They have great food, but also an owner who must be bi-polar. The last time my husband and I visited, he insisted we sit at a table facing the wall with our backs to the room! Needless to say, we left and he didn't care. Never again.
